Michael von Foerster wrote the code that would eventually become RightRez when he was working for Cornerstone Information Systems in the late 1990s. He bought the code and founded RightRez in 2003 to launch what has now become the premier air booking tool in the cruise and tour operator arena. He has built this success by never cutting corners and by getting the details right. With the team’s in-depth knowledge of air booking and management, coupled with his attention to detail, Michael has set his sights on expanding RightRez’s offerings to create a robust solution to manage the detailed nuances that the oil, gas and marine crew industries demand.

Michael’s technical tour of duty has also included Bell Labs, Data General and Data Parallel Systems. While each role brought new opportunities for Michael, he has always been entrepreneurial at heart and is fascinated with the unique challenges of running a business.

In his role as founder and CEO, Michael takes his responsibility to both his clients and to his employees very seriously. He and his team hold one core value above all else: deliver lasting value to clients. The success of this principle can be found in his client list, some of which have been working with RightRez since the very beginning.

Michael is originally from Indianapolis, but has called Bloomington, Indiana home for the past 19 years. He follows IU sports when they are winning (grin) and loves to play tennis; he just wishes his skill level matched his passion for the sport.
