Software Application Support Analyst

This is a full-time remote role for an experienced Application Support Analyst. This is a Tier 2 or Tier 3 software support position that will work alongside the Technical Account Managers to provide detailed technical support of applications that run the flights departments of some of the largest travel companies in the world.

Position Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced troubleshooting and technology support for RightRez technical account managers and clients
  • Manage multiple support requests, prioritizing to meet deadlines
  • Troubleshoot highly involved technical issues and work with software development to bring to resolution
  • Document findings and resolution providing useful feedback for similar future support requests
  • Communicate directly with clients in a professional manner
  • Effectively document software issues and defects
  • Daily monitoring of clients’ RightRez software setups
  • Some software training
  • Installation of RightRez software including new client setup and general software releases
  • Opportunity to get directly involved with the code-base for troubleshooting and bug fixing

Qualifications/Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of software support experience or minimum 1 year of software development experience
  • Experience with the airline reservation process, the Global Distribution Systems, and Passenger Name Records
  • Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, and intricate business systems/software functionality
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently utilizing time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize while consistently meeting deadlines

Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a full-time remote role for a Full Stack Software Engineer. Our technology team is the heart and soul of our company. This role will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of travel focused shopping and reservation management solutions housed in the Azure cloud.

Position Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our Product Management and Quality Assurance Team to develop functional and technical requirements
  • Plan, design, develop, test and deploy distributed software applications for new and existing products
  • Work collaboratively as part of an Agile team to build and deliver innovative experiences
  • Develop appropriate unit, integration, and end to end tests for the features delivered in a sprint
  • Actively perform code reviews and help evolve our code review guidelines to ensure quality code is shipped
  • Provide continuous feedback, identify process improvement opportunities, openly communicate, and collaborate to enhance team capabilities
  • Analyze and recommend transactional performance and efficiency improvements
  • Research and recommend Azure utilization improvements and extensions to the service stack
  • Advocate for best practices and exceptional technology standards
  • Build relationships that last a lifetime

Qualifications/Skills

  • Have proven full-stack development experience building enterprise-grade applications, preferably using Azure cloud
  • Solid understanding of micro-service architecture, Domain-Driven Design, and advanced event-driven design patterns
  • Enterprise project experience using modern programming languages, preferably C#/.Net Core in a functional execution environment
  • Have developed and maintained complex Restful APIs
  • Experience building scalable, performant, secure, and reliable cloud-native systems
  • Have developed applications using both SQL and NoSQL data stores
  • Experience working with Azure and automating the supporting application infrastructure
  • Experience building automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience working with air booking technology, a GDS, or other related segment of travel technology is a huge plus
  • Experience working with Web UI frameworks particularly Angular is a plus
  • College degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience

Tier 2 Software Support Analyst

RightRez is currently seeking a Tier 2 or Tier 3 Support Analyst to join our team in a remote position. This position is responsible for effective and efficient Tier 2 or Tier 3 support to RightRez clients and RightRez Technical Account Managers on RightRez software solutions.
